This Privacy Policy explains how Agentry (“Agentry”, “we”, “us”, “our”) — an independent software project operated by a solo developer based in India — collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit our website, buy or redeem a license, and use the Agentry desktop application.
1.Information we collect
- Email address — when you check out, redeem a coupon, or activate a license, so we can send your license key and important account or product emails.
- Payment information — payments are handled by Razorpay. We do not see or store your full card / UPI / bank details; we receive only a payment confirmation and a transaction reference.
- License & device information — your license key, the plan you purchased, and a hashed device identifier (“machine ID”) used solely to bind your license to one device and validate it. We also store activation and last‑check timestamps to enforce one‑device‑at‑a‑time licensing.
- Order metadata — e.g. the coupon code used, amount, currency, and order reference, for fulfilment, support, and accounting.
- Limited website data — to show prices in your local currency, we make a one‑time lookup of your approximate country from your IP address via a third‑party service; we use only the resulting country code and do not store your IP address. Your currency choice is saved in your browser’s local storage. We do not use advertising or analytics tracking cookies.
2.How we use your information
- Deliver your license key and download link by email.
- Activate and validate your license (one active device, with periodic re‑checks and a 7‑day offline grace period).
- Provide the application installer download.
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and chargebacks.
- Comply with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
We send transactional emails (your license key, and security or critical product notices). We send marketing or product‑update emails only where you have consented, and you can opt out at any time.
3.What the desktop app does not collect
The application runs entirely on your computer. Your code, files, projects, terminal output, and AI prompts are processed locally and are never transmitted to or stored by Agentry. The only data the app sends to us is during license validation: your license key and a hashed device identifier. If you connect third‑party AI CLIs or APIs (e.g. Claude Code, Codex, Gemini), your prompts go directly from your machine to those providers under their own terms — not through Agentry.
4.Service providers (sub‑processors)
We share the minimum necessary data with trusted providers who process it on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information.

5.Data retention
We keep your order and license records for as long as your license is active and as needed to provide support and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see “Your rights”); we will do so unless we are legally required to retain it.
6.International transfers
Our providers may process your data in countries outside your own (which may include locations outside the EEA, UK, or India). Where required by law, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
7.Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time.
- EEA / UK (GDPR): you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
- India (DPDP Act, 2023): you may access and correct your data, request erasure, nominate another person to exercise your rights, and raise grievances.

8.Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit (HTTPS), restricted database access (service‑role only), and signed, offline‑verifiable license tokens. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
9.Children
Agentry is not intended for, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from, children under 16 (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction).
10.Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.

Agentry is an independent software project operated by a solo developer based in India (a sole proprietor — not a registered company). For the EU/UK GDPR, the developer acts as the data controller; under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the developer is the data fiduciary, and support@agentryco.com is the point of contact for any data‑related questions or grievances.
